Mirrors – Exhibition "L'art de la matière"

AD Magazine invited interior designers to create designs around a specific reinvented material.
The RDAI agency built a pavilion of wood and woven bulrushes to house an intimate dining room. The concave and convex mirrors created by the Barrois workshop to decorate this space respond to each other by their opposite deformation. They distend the space, contracting it and giving an always lively and renewed vision.

Technique
Silvered glass thermoformed by gravitation at high temperature.
Colouring of the glass by the ancestral technique of silver salt sedimentation.
The concave and convex glasses are assembled to a wooden structure suspended by a leather strap.
