Aoyama flair
Tokyo – Japon, 2018
In the centre of Tokyo, this new tower houses a high-end residential complex. For this building, which pays tribute to elegance, style and fluidity, an iconic object was needed to identify and distinguish it. Our studio proposed a monumental glass wall that unfolds like a textile.
Settled from the entrance lobby to the first floor, this wall creates a diaphanous veil that runs through the building. During the day, the structure welcomes the visitor in an enigmatic way. At night, animated by occasional lighting, it reinterprets the architecture and reveals new readings.
